We design and build web sites mainly for small business (although not exclusively) who are looking for a first or replacement website that will be Search Engine AND User friendly. We also design and build (and have a specific package) for those venturing into Home Based Business and have limited funds. Simply, we design and build websites that suit your specific budget, which the Search Engines can read and therefore, index and rank easily and correctly. A website that Users can navigate and find what they want without frustration. We are based in Australia and most of our clientele are from in country however, we have had clients from the US, UK, parts of Europe, South Africa, Canada and other parts of the world, so we can assist clients from virtually anywhere, provided your website is to be in English.

Many are unaware that technologies and website enhancements, such as Flash, Java Script type RSS and text that is part of images etc cannot be read by Search Engine Robots, consequently, when a website is made up completely, or largely of this type of content, it can't be read. 'Flash' seems to be what many of the web designers are offering to their clients, who unknowingly are getting a website that Search Engines, to some degree, cannot read. It's no big secret or conspiracy - 'Flash' content CANNOT be read by Search Engines. Ask any Web Designer (or Search Engine) and, if they're honest, you'll get the same answer. A website made up mainly of Flash will be highly unlikely to rank well in the Search Engines, simply because there's not a whole lot visible for the SE's robots (also called spiders or crawlers) to rank, if at all.

The website may do 'OK' if there's some HTML to back it up. Search Engines can only read websites with 'typed text' in HTML coded pages, the original code that websites were built with, and still are. In fact, the other forms of coding are often dependent on html coded pages in order to function, anyway. We design and build only HTML web sites for the Search Engines to read, index correctly and hence, rank accordingly. As the Search Engine's clients are those who are searching the Web, they are more impressed with a 'user friendly' website than one with 'bells and whistles'. In short, the Search Engines want to present their clients, the Search Engine User, with websites that the Search Engines themselves can see are user friendly, easily navigated, informative and content rich. 'Space Age' graphics, although sometimes visually impressive, count for nothing when it comes to rankings and hence, customers.

Do HTML Sites Look Attractive And Attention Getting?    (Back to top)

Website designs based on HTML code certainly can look as attractive and attention-getting as any other website. Aesthetics doesn't necessary count on 'movement' (which is the major capability or feature of Flash). If it did, the likes of Rembrandt, Picasso and Da Vinci wouldn't be so well known, would they... ? We believe that many website designers have come to use too much of the 'high-end' technology now available and in doing so, have strayed from the true purpose of the website designer, that is, to build User and Search Engine friendly websites that serve their owners well and look good. As we've explained, some of the high end technology DOES NOT serve owners well simply because it isn't conducent to favourable Search Engine rankings.  We know that HTML web sites can be built to look attractive and also to be versatile, in that, any kind of product or service can be represented well on a HTML coded web site design, which is SE friendly and easily read and indexed. HTML websites load faster thus, reducing user frustration and they are easier to build and hence, cheaper to design and create and also to maintain.
